13-week travel assignment in Aberdeen, WA starting 08/10/2026. 36 guaranteed hours per week with housing assistance available near the assignment site.
Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts (05:30–18:00), 3 days per week (3x12)
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Pay
Weekly pay range: $1,876–$1,923
Responsibilities
- Provide, coordinate, and direct individualized respiratory care based on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients requiring respiratory support per physician orders
- Monitor patient responses, adjust therapies as indicated, and document findings in the medical record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes; adhere to BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP protocols
- Maintain equipment and ensure safety; participate in ventilator management and other duty-specific tasks
- Manage approved time off (RTO) and ensure any approved leave is added to the end of the contract
- Demonstrate a team-oriented approach
Requirements
- Current Washington State license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- OB experience strongly preferred
- One year of acute care experience preferred; new graduates may be considered
- Ability to meet physical requirements:
- Lift 50 pounds from floor to waist and from wheelchair to bed
- Lift 5 pounds overhead
- Lift/pull up to 50 pounds
- Push a 150-pound loaded stretcher 300 feet
- Adequate auditory and visual capabilities to perform procedures and chart accurately
- Ability to work within a hospital setting and function within the Cardiopulmonary department
