Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,231 per week
About the role
The Good Life MedStaff is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible in Valentine, Nebraska.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services to patients under the supervision of a physician.
- Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results.
- Administer treatments such as nebulizer therapy, oxygen therapy, and aerosol medications.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Take evening call on the days they are scheduled to work.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of Nebraska.
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- At least one year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy.
- Knowledge of advanced life support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Pass a background check.
- Pass a drug screening.
- Pass a physical examination.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in computer systems and software relevant to respiratory therapy.
Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
- Candidate may choose between five 8-hour shifts per week or four 10-hour shifts per week.
