Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,231 per week

About the role

The Good Life MedStaff is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible in Valentine, Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to patients under the supervision of a physician.
• Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results.
• Administer treatments such as nebulizer therapy, oxygen therapy, and aerosol medications.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Take evening call on the days they are scheduled to work.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of Nebraska.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• At least one year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy.
• Knowledge of advanced life support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check.
• Pass a drug screening.
• Pass a physical examination.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in computer systems and software relevant to respiratory therapy.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• Candidate may choose between five 8-hour shifts per week or four 10-hour shifts per week.
