Job Description & Requirements

Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 12 hours, nights

Responsibilities

  • Deliver respiratory care to patients, including adults and pediatric patients in acute care settings.
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning of all respiratory therapy devices.
  • Monitor and assess patient response to treatments and make necessary adjustments.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred; NRP certification for NICU required.
  • Experience in a tertiary, teaching hospital environment and familiarity with level 1 trauma cases preferred.
  • Ability to float as needed in NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, and emergency departments.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
