About the role
Care Team Solutions is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting July 20, 2026 in Portland, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services in the emergency room setting
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with respiratory conditions
- Administer treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and bronchodilators
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
Requirements
- At least 2+ years of recent experience in emergency room respiratory therapy
- Current license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Maine
- Knowledge of advanced respiratory techniques and equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Passing scores on relevant certification exams
Skills
- Proficient in using respiratory therapy equipment
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
