About the role

Respiratory Therapist Registered for a six-week assignment providing respiratory care and clinical support across patient care areas. The role requires schedule flexibility, including weekend and holiday coverage, with the ability to support the nursery and emergency room as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and clinical support across patient care areas
• Maintain schedule flexibility including weekend and holiday coverage
• Support the nursery and emergency room as needed
• Participate in float rotation as required
• Work a minimum of every other weekend and adjust schedule based on unit and patient-care needs
• Cover 2 of the 3 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas or Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day or New Year's Eve

Requirements

• Minimum of 23 years of Respiratory Therapist experience
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification or experience or exposure to neonatal or pediatric populations
• Electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years
• New York license or proof of license application with the application date included at submission

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Weekend and holiday coverage required (every other weekend minimum)
• Block schedules are not available
