Job Details
- Shift Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Certified as a respiratory therapist
- Michigan state license
- ACLS certification
- A minimum of 0 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with pediatric respiratory care
- Advanced airway management skills
Additional Information
- Provides comprehensive respiratory treatments including ventilator management, chest physiotherapy, suctioning, and monitoring of respiratory parameters
- Assists with procedures such as bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and tracheostomy care
- Performs diagnostic assessments including EKGs, pulmonary function tests, and arterial punctures
- Follows all laboratory testing protocols when applicable
- Maintains detailed treatment records, communicates effectively with physicians, and ensures equipment functionality and safety
