Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapist (Registered) position in San Luis Obispo, California involves providing comprehensive respiratory care services to adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on critical care and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) credential or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) credential
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS or HS-BLS or RQIBLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS or HS-ACLS or RQIACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS or HS-PALS or RQIPALS) certification
- 5 years of critical care experience, including 2-3 years in NICU with neonatal intubation experience
- Location requirements include California
