Job Summary

The position is for a Respiratory Therapist (Registered) working in a hospital setting in Lone Tree, Colorado. The role involves providing respiratory therapy in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on ventilator management and patient care in intensive care units.

Job Details

  • Position: Respiratory Therapist (Registered)
  • Specialty: RT PEDS
  • Shift: Nights, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
  • Hours: 36 hours per week minimum

Minimum Experience & Qualifications

  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, CRT or NBRC
  • Education/Degree: Must be a registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with current acute care hospital experience of at least 6 months
  • Experience: Minimum of 0 years (entry level acceptable if experience is met)

Additional Information

  • Typical Procedures: Ventilator management, intubation assistance, ABG analysis, patient and staff education, and various respiratory therapies across ED, PEDS, ICU, NICU, and Med Surg units
  • Unit Values: Teamwork, collaboration, and autonomy
  • Preferred Experience: Prior Meditech EMR experience, PICU, or NICU experience
  • Schedule: Flexible schedule required
  • Personality: Team-oriented personality

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
