Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $1,745 per week

Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist (RT) specializing in Pediatric (PEDS) care is required in a healthcare facility located in West Valley City, Utah. This position involves providing comprehensive respiratory care for pediatric patients within an acute care setting. The role requires a dedicated professional skilled in diagnostic testing, patient assessments, and therapy plan implementation.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (e.g., CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP)
• Current licensure with submission ability
• Certifications including BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, PALS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC
• At least 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
• Location in Utah
• Minimum of 0 years of experience required for this position

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with pediatric respiratory care and diagnostic testing

Additional Information

Responsible for patient assessments, care plans, and therapy plan evaluations. Performs diagnostic testing such as ABG's, PFT's, EKG's, and pulse oximetry. Transports patients as needed within the hospital or between facilities. May work flexible hours including overtime, standby, and on-call coverage outside standard hours per department policy. The position may involve being the only RT in-house at times. Hospital can cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
