Travel assignment starting 09/07/2026 for 13 weeks in a short-term acute care setting in New Lenox, Illinois.

Pay

Weekly pay ranges from $2,222 to $2,401. There are no guaranteed hours.

Schedule

Shift: 5x8 Days

Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional nursing care using the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for wound care patients
  • Collaborate with the wound care team and other disciplines to optimize patient outcomes
  • Prioritize nursing actions and implement physician orders accurately within defined time frames
  • Document patient care, assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (Cerner EMR) with accuracy and timeliness
  • Monitor wounds, perform dressing changes, and administer wound care treatments per orders while monitoring for signs of infection or complications
  • Maintain patient safety and adherence to infection prevention protocols in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Active Illinois RN license (must be active at submission)
  • BLS certification (active)
  • Minimum 2 years of acute wound care experience (required)
  • Experience with Cerner EMR (required)
  • Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment (required)
  • COVID-19 and influenza vaccination required; vaccination status must be reflected in the profile
  • Copy of agency IL nursing license included in submission (required)
