Travel Registered Nurse Wound Care Job

About the role

This travel assignment starts August 17, 2026 and runs for 8 weeks. Expect 36 hours per week across 3x12-hour day shifts in a hospital setting. This temporary assignment is coordinated through Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Weekly pay ranges from $2,054 to $2,244. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and implement individualized wound care plans
• Perform wound care interventions, dressing changes, and topical therapies as ordered
• Monitor wound progression, document findings, and track outcomes in the Epic EHR
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to adjust care plans and communicate updates
• Educate patients and families on wound care, self-management, and prevention strategies
• Ensure timely documentation, medication administration, and adherence to clinical protocols

Requirements

• Active RN license (California) or eligibility to practice as an RN in the appropriate jurisdiction
• Experience or demonstrated competency in wound care nursing
• Proficiency with Epic or willingness to complete Epic training
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and meet a 36-hour weekly schedule
• Comfort working in a hospital setting on a travel, temporary assignment

Pay
