Travel Registered Nurse Wound Care Job

Responsibilities
- Perform VAC therapy changes and dressing changes; wound photography (rover) as part of daily wound care duties
- Assess wounds and implement care plans, including debridement (sharp/mechanical) as indicated
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure equipment and supplies are available and functioning
- Monitor patient progress and document care in the electronic charting system; communicate with an interdisciplinary team (PT, RT, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Work, Phlebotomy, Transport, Unit Secretary, Rapid Response)
- Provide wound care for adults with wound care needs; typical volume includes a high daily workflow with multiple wound visits
Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in Missouri (pending license accepted for submission per state rules)
- WOCN certification (Wound Ostomy Care) required
- BCLS and NIH certifications required (as listed)
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Peritoneal dialysis experience required
- Education: RN degree; ability to work in an acute care setting
- Local candidates NOT accepted within a 75-mile radius
