Responsibilities

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
  • Collect relevant data, analyze assessment information, and identify care needs and diagnoses
  • Develop and implement a care plan with prescribed interventions to achieve desired outcomes; coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members
  • Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust plans as needed; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
  • Educate patients and families, provide health information, and support learning for treatment and self-care
  • Delegate appropriately, supervise assigned nursing staff, and ensure a safe, healing environment

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice (California)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an approved vendor
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
  • Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • At least two years of recent nursing experience in the field; acute care facility experience preferred

About the Role

This travel temporary assignment supports patient care in a home hospice environment, coordinating nursing services and collaborating with the care team.

Pay

Weekly pay range: $1,597 to $1,726 per week

Schedule

Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Shift: 3x12-hour days
