Responsibilities
Provide coordinated nursing care for telemetry patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making
Assess patients, implement and evaluate care plans, monitor clinical status, and respond promptly to changes in condition
Administer medications, monitor for adverse effects, and document actions accurately in the patient record
Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and effective handoffs
Requirements
- Active RN license appropriate for California
- Experience or ability to function in an inpatient telemetry setting with multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to clock in to the unit being worked per Float Pool policy
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment
