Travel Registered Nurse Tele Job

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines; apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making
• Monitor patient status using telemetry, identify changes, respond promptly to evolving conditions, and administer medications and therapies as prescribed
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately; communicate with the health care team; participate in handoffs and care planning
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity; advocate for patients and families; contribute to unit safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts
• Telemetry-focused activities: interpret ECG/telemetry data, recognize arrhythmias, implement protocols, and escalate to the medical team as needed
• Support discharge planning and patient education, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize transitions of care

Requirements

• Active California Registered Nurse license (or eligibility) to practice in CA; travel eligibility required
• Telemetry/acute care nursing experience preferred
• Minimum education: BSN or ADN from an accredited program
• Credentialing readiness for travel assignments; ability to complete required pre-employment checks and onboarding processes
