Travel Registered Nurse, Stepdown Unit - $2,296 per week
About the role
The Registered Nurse will provide exceptional care to patients in the Stepdown Unit, with potential floating opportunities to related units. This role requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care to patients requiring stepdown level services.
- Monitor and assess patient condition, administer medications, and perform necessary interventions.
- Cook/coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members.
- Document patient care using the designated charting system.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 months combined experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit.
- Valid Ohio RN license or a compact state license (required at the time of application).
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be current).
- Experience with ECG rhythm recognition and medication management preferred.

Pay & Schedule
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
This position operates on a rotating schedule with 3x12-hour shifts. Scheduled shifts are either Day (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM) or Night (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM), with potential for variability based on operational needs.
