Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs, and contribute to the plan of care
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement and evaluate individualized care plans
• Explain diagnoses, treatments, and care instructions to patients and responsible persons
• Demonstrate nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records in the patient chart
• Participate in continuing education and meet core measure responsibilities related to patient care

Requirements

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Ability to work in a PCU environment with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Availability to work 36 hours per week, with potential overtime
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting
