Travel assignment for an RN experienced in PCU/Med-Surg in a 25-bed long-term care/nursing home environment. Active Washington RN license required. Must be available to work through the holiday season with limited time off.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in PCU/Telemetry/Med-Surg areas; educate patients and significant others using appropriate modalities
- Promote patient safety through preventative measures, side rails, safe equipment use, and adherence to isolation and infection control procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot equipment; access manuals as needed and follow repair procedures
- Document patient status, nursing interventions, and responses accurately; process physician orders promptly; perform 24-hour order checks when applicable
- Deliver complete shift reports to oncoming staff; communicate with other departments and report critical lab values promptly per policy
- Maintain and restock emergency carts, supplies, and room inventory; assume duties across departments as assigned
Requirements
- Active Washington RN license
- Experience in PCU/Med-Surg or similar acute care settings; ability to flex to multiple departments as needed
- Ability to work nights and meet guaranteed hours
- Current RN education from an approved nursing program
- Willingness to work through holiday season with minimal time off
Pay
Weekly pay: $2,178–$2,333 per week
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights
- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
- Start date: 10/05/2026
