Travel Registered Nurse PACU Job

Role: Registered Nurse in PACU, providing postoperative care in a short-term acute care setting. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care, monitor patient vitals, manage pain and nausea, administer medications, respond to emergencies, document patient progress, and coordinate patient transfers. Qualifications & Skills: Kansas RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, minimum 1 year PACU and PreOp experience, ability to work 4x10-hour shifts, and participation in virtual orientation. No new graduates accepted. Key Duties: Assess patient status, ensure airway and circulation stability, manage anesthesia recovery, recognize emergencies, communicate with the care team, and prepare patients for discharge or transfer.
