Shift: 5x8 Days, Mon–Fri, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Setting: acute-care facility with general surgery and OB/GYN procedures; potential ortho coverage as needed. On-call responsibilities required.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the OR Circulator, supporting the surgical team during general, OB/GYN, and related procedures; may assist with ortho cases as needed
- Ensure sterile technique, maintain sterile fields, and conduct instrument counts before, during, and after procedures
- Prepare the operating room, set up equipment and supplies, assist with draping, positioning, and equipment management
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nursing staff; monitor patient status and coordinate intraoperative workflow
- Assist with documentation of intraoperative events and ensure accurate perioperative records
- Participate in on-call coverage as required by the unit; respond to schedule needs and respond to emergencies as needed
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in Texas (RN) or eligibility to practice in TX
- OR Circulator experience or demonstrated operating room nursing experience; familiarity with general surgery and OB/GYN cases; potential ortho exposure as needed
- Ability to work Mon–Fri, day shift (7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.) with on-call availability
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN) and current licensure
- Credential competence in navigating the OR environment, collaborating with surgical and anesthesia teams, and maintaining patient safety and aseptic technique
