Travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in Springfield, Massachusetts, United States. Assignment begins 09/07/2026 and lasts 13 weeks with guaranteed hours of 36 per week on a 3x12 night shift.

About the Role

This hospital-based unit specializes in medical-surgical and telemetry care, with opportunities to work in Telemetry and Intermediate Care environments. Telemetry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including monitoring and assessing clinical status.
• Interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition per protocol and orders.
• Administer prescribed medications and therapies, document responses, and ensure safe medication administration.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, and participate in rounds and care conferences.
• Document in the electronic health record, ensuring accurate charting of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, discharge plans, and follow-up care; facilitate safe transitions of care.

Requirements

• Active nursing license in Massachusetts (RN).
• Nursing degree (diploma, associate, or baccalaureate).
• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg and/or Telemetry experience; telemetry experience required.
• Ability to work in a hospital-based Med-Surg/Telemetry/ICU-capable unit.
• Availability for 3x12 night shifts; 4x12 options may be available per unit.
• Must be outside of a 90-mile radius from the facility.

Pay

Weekly pay ranges from $2,433 to $2,568 based on assignments and shift requirements.
