Responsibilities

• Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care for Med Surg Tele patients, including assessment, monitoring, and timely interventions
• Monitor telemetry, interpret heart rhythms, and respond to changes in patient status in collaboration with the care team
• Administer prescribed medications and therapies; ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other disciplines to implement care plans and support discharge planning
• Float to other units as needed and participate in on-call coverage as required by the assignment

Requirements

• Flu vaccine required (no exceptions)
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
• RTO: No more than 3 days may be requested per 13-week contract
• 100-mile radius rule: permanent address must be outside a 100-mile radius of the assignment location
• Ability to work days and participate in on-call coverage as required
