Travel Registered Nurse LTC Job

Overview

Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care (LTC) travel assignment in Berlin, Vermont. 16-week contract starting 09/28/2026. 3x12-hour day shifts. Weekly pay: $2,139–$2,246. Temporary position staffed through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including assessment and ongoing monitoring
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy, documenting responses and adverse events
• Perform routine and focused physical assessments, identify changes in condition, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other disciplines to develop and update care plans; monitor residents with dementia and respond to behavioral and medical needs
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation in the facility's electronic medical record; ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements
• Float to other units as needed to support patient care and unit coverage

Requirements

• BLS through American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• LTC experience required
• Floating required; willingness to float to other units as needed
• Comfort working with residents who have dementia
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
