Overview
A registered nurse is needed for a 13-week ICU travel assignment in Sonora, California, starting on August 3, 2026. The shift is 3 twelve-hour nights per week, with a weekly pay range of $1,883 to $2,017.
Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated ICU nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Maintain vigilance over patient status, administer medications, perform required procedures, and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care; document findings accurately and in a timely manner
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team; participate in rounds and care coordination activities
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of California
- ICU/critical care experience preferred
- Able to function in a high-acuity environment
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and meet the demands of a fast-paced ICU setting
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Travel-ready professional with strong collaboration and documentation skills
