Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment available in Chanute, Kansas, United States. Start date: 08/03/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,084–$2,163 per week. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. Shift: Nights, 7:00 pm–7:00 am (3x12-hour shifts). This assignment is at a Critical Access Hospital and is a travel, temporary position. ASAP starts only; not open to first-time travelers.

Responsibilities
Provide bedside nursing care for ICU patients, including continuous monitoring and rapid assessment of changes in condition
Administer ICU-level medications and drips, including sedation management and ventilator support as required
Perform ongoing patient assessments and accurately document in the Cerner charting system
Respond to emergencies, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and adjust care plans as needed
Maintain patient safety, infection control, and comfort, while observing facility policies and procedures
May float within scope to Med-Surg to support unit needs when directed
Requirements
Active RN license in Kansas
ACLS and PALS or ENPC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience
Ability to work nights (7:00 pm–7:00 am)
Comfortable with ICU drips/sedation and critical care environments
ASAP start; not suitable for first-time travel nurses
