Responsibilities
Provide Holistic Nursing Care: Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care for ICU patients across the life span.
Develop and Revise Plan of Care: Coordinate multidisciplinary care and delegate appropriate activities to team members.
Monitor Patient Status: Interpret cardiac rhythms, manage hemodynamics, and respond to changes with appropriate interventions.
Document Care: Ensure accurate and timely communication with the patient and family, and provide patient education.
Participate in Rounds: Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other disciplines to optimize outcomes.
Floating to Other ICUs and MS Units: As needed to meet staffing requirements.
Requirements
Current Minnesota Registered Nurse License: Active
BLS and ACLS Certifications: AHA or ARC
Minimum 1 Year ICU Experience: Adult and Geriatric Populations
PREFERRED: Experience with Fresh Open-Heart Surgery Patients; Interpretation of Cardiac Rhythms; Experience with Impella and Balloon Pumps

Ability to Work in a Hospital ICU Setting: Yes
