Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Key Highlights
- Weekly pay: $1,927–$2,029 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 2x3 Days
- Start date: 07/20/2026
- Setting: ICU and IMCU with neuro emphasis; float between units as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, professional nursing care for adult ICU and neuro step-down patients
- Maintain monitoring of neurological status, administer medications, manage lines and devices, and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff to develop and implement care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record
- Support families with education and discharge planning; ensure safety and comfort during transitions
- Floating between ICU and IMCU as required; maintain appropriate patient ratios (ICU 1–2, step-down 3–4)
Requirements
- Active RN license with Nursys verification; eligible to practice in Georgia or able to obtain
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience with strong neuro specialization; Neuro ICU/IMCU experience preferred
- Certifications: current CPR/BLS; ACLS; additional neuro-specific credentials preferred
- Ability to work in ICU and IMCU environments and float between units as needed
- Documentation: work history with no gaps greater than 60 days; provide references, certification card, and skills checklist
