Overview

Healthforce Healthcare LLC is seeking an ICU nurse for a travel assignment in a Critical Access Hospital setting. This is a non-local option requiring a minimum distance from the facility. Key Highlights:

  • Weekly pay: $2,215–$2,315 per week
  • Guaranteed hours: 0.0
  • Contract duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), ~36 hours/week
  • Start date: 08/03/2026
  • Work setting: ICU in a Critical Access Hospital
  • Travel requirement with distance eligibility (no local candidates)

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care for ICU patients across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, including trauma and critical care scenarios.

  • Maintain vigilance over vital signs, manage ventilator support, hemodynamic monitoring, lines and drains, medications, and infection control.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other team members.
  • Chart accurately in the Cerner EMR and communicate patient status during rounds and handoffs.
  • Respond to emergencies, participate in rapid response/codes, and ensure patient safety and quality of care.
  • Perform procedures within scope of practice and maintain clinical competency through ongoing documentation and performance checks.

Requirements

  • Active RN license in New Hampshire; license verification required
  • ICU experience: minimum 2 years current ICU experience (required)
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association) required; TNCC highly preferred
  • EMR: Cerner EMR experience highly preferred
  • Documentation: Supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment required; permanent address included in submission

This is a non-local option requiring a minimum distance from the facility. The shift is 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), approximately 36 hours per week, starting on 08/03/2026 in an ICU setting at a Critical Access Hospital.
