Overview

A Registered Nurse (RN) position is available for a 8-week ICU travel assignment in Glendale, California, starting August 17, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct nursing care for ICU-level patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
  • Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and administer medications and therapies as ordered
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines to coordinate comprehensive care
  • Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at various levels; delegate tasks appropriately
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record and ensure patient safety and quality of care
  • Apply critical thinking and independent judgment to respond to changing patient conditions

Requirements

  • Current RN license to practice in California (or eligibility)
  • ICU nursing experience preferred
  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and 36 hours per week
  • Willingness to travel for a travel assignment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
