Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Overview
Registered Nurse, ICU travel assignment in Templeton, California. Start date: 08/17/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,334–$2,513 per week. Shift: 3×12-hour nights.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU, including monitoring, assessment, and intervention for critically ill patients
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and support hemodynamic stability per unit protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient status and care in the Epic EMR with accuracy and timeliness
- Respond to clinical changes, participate in rapid response and code events as required
- Adhere to infection control standards and regulatory requirements to ensure patient safety
Requirements
- Active RN license (state not specified in the posting)
- ICU/critical care nursing experience
- Proficiency with Epic EMR or willingness to learn
- Ability to work 3×12-hour night shifts
- Availability for an 8-week travel assignment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
