Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards of care and the nursing process
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
Coincide care with other disciplines while applying critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
Maintain accurate documentation of care, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition in a timely manner
Requirements
- Ability to work in a hospital ICU setting
- Demonstrated critical-thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams and supervising nursing staff
- Flexibility to work 12-hour day shifts and adapt to a fast-paced ICU environment
