Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment available in Tulare, California. Start date: 08/17/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,327 to $2,401 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (36 hours per week). Setting: hospital-level ICU care requiring coordination with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established standards and the nursing process
- Maintain patient status, administer medications, perform focused assessments, and adjust care plans as conditions change
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at various levels; coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other team members
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record and ensure clear communication across shifts
- Respond to emergencies, implement physician orders, and participate in coordinated discharge planning and family education
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and equipment management; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- ICU nursing experience or demonstrated critical care competency
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced ICU setting
- Willingness to participate in credentialing and onboarding processes for a travel assignment
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
