Travel Registered Nurse Home Health Job

Travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in home health care, serving patients in York, ME through a hospital-affiliated program. Assignment starts 08/31/2026 and lasts 13 weeks.

About the role

Provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes as part of a hospital-affiliated home health program. Travel within the York, ME service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home skilled nursing care per the patient’s plan of care
• Perform OASIS assessments and document clinical findings accurately
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient status, and manage wound care and IV therapies as appropriate
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, safety, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate services and ensure quality patient outcomes
• Document visits and maintain accurate records in the electronic health record, adhering to agency policies and timelines

Requirements

• Active RN license in the State of Maine
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of home health care experience
• Ability to perform OASIS visits
• Comfort working in patients’ homes and traveling within the service area

Pay

Weekly pay ranges from $2,196 to $2,401, with guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Schedule

13-week contract starting 08/31/2026. Shift is 5 hours per day.
