About the role
Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes as a travel Registered Nurse. This role involves delivering comprehensive care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and ensuring accurate documentation in a home health setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes according to physician orders and care plans.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage basic treatments within scope of practice.
- Develop and revise individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team; document changes promptly.
- Deliver wound care, IV therapy administration (where permitted), and ongoing patient education on health maintenance and safety.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, safety, fall prevention, and infection control.
- Communicate with supervisors, physicians, and care coordinators to coordinate services and respond to changes in patient condition; ensure accurate and timely documentation.
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to practice in PA).
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to perform nursing duties in a home health setting and travel within the service area.
- Strong assessment, documentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN acceptable).
- Minimum clinical experience appropriate for home health nursing; patient-focused care mindset.
Pay
Weekly pay: $2,324 to $2,446.
Schedule
- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week.
- Shift: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Contract duration: 12 weeks.
- Start date: 08/19/2026.
