Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Overview
A registered nurse is needed for a 8-week contract in the emergency room (ER) at Delano, CA starting on August 17, 2026. The weekly pay is estimated between $2,368 and $2,399, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The shift is 12-hour nights, working three shifts.
Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients in the ER according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across the assigned shifts; maintain professional and supervisory discretion
- Carefully coordinate care with other disciplines and services; communicate clearly with patients and family as appropriate
- Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment to prioritize patient needs and ensure safety and quality of care
Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license
- ER nursing experience preferred for travel assignments
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS certification preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced ER environment
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN)
- Willingness to travel to Delano, CA for an 8-week assignment
