Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Overview
A Registered Nurse (RN) position is available for a 13-week travel assignment at an ambulatory surgery center in Tuba City, Arizona, starting on August 10, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a high-volume ER and peri-procedural environment, following physician orders and established policies.
- Assess patient condition, triage, initiate treatment, monitor vital signs, and manage IVs and medications.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure patient safety.
- Document care in the electronic health record, assist with discharge planning, and provide patient/family education.
Requirements
- Active RN license from any state (Arizona licensure not required for hire).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) completion within 6 months of hire.
- Emergency Severity Index Level 5 (ESI 5) within 3 months of hire.
- Pediatric Sitter Competency Training required upon hire.
- National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale documentation; NRP required within 1 year; TNCC required within 1 year; ENPC required within 1 year.
