Overview
ER Registered Nurse (Travel) – Emergency Department, Coos Bay, OR. Start date 08/11/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,874–$1,987 per week. Guaranteed hours 0.0. Shift: 3x12 nights. Setting: hospital.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in the ED within the scope defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and implement care plans using the nursing process
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses and safety
- Educate patients and significant others about diagnoses, treatments, and expected outcomes
- Document all patient care activities accurately in the medical record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize patient care throughout the ED stay
Requirements
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse license or eligibility with willingness to obtain/activate
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience; recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years (required)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS (AHA) required; certifications do not need to be active at submission but must be willing to obtain/maintain
- Ability to work in a high-acuity ED setting and adapt to 3x12 night shifts
- Resume and skills checklist updated within the last year; profile materials as requested
