Setting: Rural, Critical Access Hospital Emergency Department with coverage in nearby Granby and Fraser as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the ED from admission to discharge, following standard protocols
• Perform triage, initial assessment, care planning, interventions, and documentation
• Administer medications and monitor patient status; interpret relevant data and respond to changes
• Apply ACLS, PALS (or equivalent), TNCC and BLS during care; participate in trauma level IV protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, other providers, and the broader care team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Participate in on-call and holiday coverage as required, ensuring safe transitions of care

Requirements

• Active Colorado RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (or equivalent), and TNCC certifications as required
• Emergency Department or Critical Access Hospital experience preferred
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; ability to work nights and fulfill on-call/holiday requirements
• Ability to work in a rural ED setting and meet credentialing requirements
