Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency department care for adult and pediatric patients
• Initiate IV access, perform phlebotomy, and manage central line care
• Administer blood products and emergency medications; interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Congduct procedural sedation and monitor for adverse effects; manage multisystem organ dysfunction
• Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols; ensure patient and staff safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, support rapid response, and educate patients and families

Requirements

• Active NY RN license in hand to submit BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; ER/ED experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required for submission
• Availability for night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am); willing to float as census warrants; weekend coverage every other weekend
