Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Key Highlights

• Weekly pay: $2,104–$2,228 per week

• Setting: Emergency Department in a hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for ED patients with a wide range of acute and non-urgent needs, including emergent mental health care as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, ongoing monitoring, and documentation; respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, IV therapy, analgesia, and basic interventions; support resuscitation and trauma procedures as part of the code team
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff; assist with procedures and patient disposition planning
• Cookage patient and family education, discharge planning, or transfer to appropriate services; ensure accurate charting in the electronic medical record
• Provide age-appropriate care, including pediatric and adult patients, while adhering to department protocols and safety standards

Requirements

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required
• ACLS, TNCC, and PALS required; CEN preferred
• ER nursing experience preferred; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ED environment
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekend coverage and shifts in a high-acuity setting
