Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview

A Registered Nurse position is available for a 13-week travel assignment in the Emergency Room (ER) at Saint Helena, California. The start date is scheduled for July 27, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an ER patient population following established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions; respond promptly to changes in status.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed; monitor for therapeutic and adverse effects.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately.
• Carefully coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring clear communication and effective handoffs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice.

Requirements

• ER nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment and adapt to changing patient needs.
• Effective communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff.
• Competence in documenting care and coordinating with the care team.
• Comfort working in a hospital ER setting on a travel assignment.
