Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Key Highlights
- Weekly pay: $1,718–$1,861 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
- Start date: 07/28/2026
- Location/Setting: Lima, OH; hospital environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to ED patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care using age-specific criteria
- Collaborate with ED physicians, support staff, and unit coordinators; supervise and educate LPNs/PCTs and unit secretaries as needed
- Float to all units within the ED scope and skill level when required
- Maintain patient safety by monitoring patient status, administering medications and therapies per orders, documenting accurately, and communicating changes to the care team
- Respond to emergencies; participate in code responses; perform emergency procedures
- Ensure adherence to policies, infection control, and patient advocacy; complete accurate handoffs and care plans
Requirements
- Active RN license in Ohio or a compact state as verified by Nursys
- 1+ year ED experience (Emergency Department)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (all active)
- Ability to work in a hospital environment and to float across units within scope
- Must be able to float to all units within skill level as required
- Weekend work: every other weekend
