Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview

A Registered Nurse (RN) position is available for a 4-week temporary assignment in the Emergency Department (ED) at a Critical Access Hospital in Clinton, Illinois. The start date is August 3, 2026.

• Weekly Pay: $1,497 - $1,620
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

• Shift: Night shifts, 12-hour schedule (3x12), rotating weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department
• Maintain patient status, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered
• Evaluate outcomes and consult with ED physicians, specialists, and ancillary departments as required
• Adjust nursing care based on consultations
• Communicate changes in patient condition, symptoms, and test results to the ED team and patient/family
• Support patient flow and safety, addressing psychosocial and general care needs
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response; document thoroughly and escalate as needed

Requirements

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• ENPC, TNCC, and TNS certifications preferred
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12) with rotating weekends
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
