Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Hermiston, OR. Start date 08/03/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,100-$2,292 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12-hour days. Setting: Critical Access Hospital. This assignment is a travel - temporary position.

ER Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments on arrival, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms
- Triage and prioritize care based on acuity; administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders; perform wound care and splinting
- Monitor patients continuously, assess responses to treatments, and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff; document care accurately in electronic health records or paper charts
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, procedures, and follow-up care; respond to rapid response calls and code blue situations; uphold infection control standards
- Participate in quality improvement activities and, when needed, be floated to other departments to meet patient care needs
Requirements
- Current RN license in the State of Oregon
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Emergency Department and manage long 12-hour shifts; strong communication and critical-thinking skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds; stand and walk for extended periods; color vision to distinguish colors
