Registered Nurse - ER (Travel) in Hilo, Hawaii. Start date 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,856-$1,875 per week. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. This position is a travel - temporary assignment in a 28-bed emergency department with 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms and 22 cardiac monitor rooms.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ER, including triage, initial assessment, stabilization, medication administration, IV therapy and ongoing monitoring
- Manage patients requiring rapid intervention, trauma activation, cardiovascular monitoring and behavioral health needs
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case management and ancillary staff to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Document care, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control and privacy standards; participate in handoffs and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Active Hawaii RN license; Hawaii licensure required by start date
- Must arrive the Thursday before start to complete the employee health appointment
- Ability to work Nights (3x12-hour shifts) and participate in orientation during the first week
- Willingness to follow department protocols and timelines for patient turnover in a fast-paced ER setting
