Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patient concerns, providing appropriate triage guidance and escalation as needed
• Coordinate care across cardiology services, ensuring smooth transitions and communication among team members
• Assist with Exercise Stress Tests and Tilt Table Tests per clinic protocols
• Perform EKGs and manage heart monitoring equipment, including device setup and data review
• Start IVs for diagnostic testing and support related procedures
• Educate patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and treatment plans; document education and responses

Requirements

• Current Colorado RN license, in good standing
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Minimum 3 years of Cardiology-specific clinic/ambulatory experience
• Epic experience or demonstrated proficiency with cardiology workflow in an EMR
• Clinic/ambulatory care experience with a cardiology background; ability to work effectively in a clinic setting
