Travel assignment starting 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks in Bad Axe, Michigan.
Pay
Weekly pay: $2,292.00 to $2,379.00 per week with 36 guaranteed hours.
Schedule
Shift: 5x8 Days. On-call requirements: 10–11 days per month, weekend on-call only.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality perioperative nursing care using the nursing process as an OR circulating nurse.
- Collaborate with surgeons, scrub techs, anesthesia, and other team members to maintain professional nursing standards.
- Translate physician orders into safe, evidence-based perioperative care and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical experience.
- Perform circulating duties per policy, mission, and standards of practice; document accurately in patient records.
- Support OR workflow, including room turnover, equipment readiness, and patient positioning while maintaining sterile technique and infection prevention.
- Communicate effectively during handoffs and participate in post-anesthesia care as applicable.
Requirements
- Current Michigan registered nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- OR Circulating experience required.
- Specific experience: Orthopedics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, and General surgery required.
- Urology and Ophthalmic experience preferred.
- Prior travel experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a high-demand OR environment and adhere to professional regulatory guidelines.
- Formal degree as a practicing RN required.
