Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel) in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, United States. Start date: 08/17/2026. 13-week assignment. Weekly pay: $2,076 to $2,092 per week. Shift: 4x10-hour days (0700–1730). No guaranteed hours are specified for this assignment.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and provide direct clinical care to assigned perioperative patients per shift
- Deliver and supervise perioperative nursing care within the operating room
- Supervise staff to whom care is delegated and ensure competency and safety
- Collaborate with leadership to support high-quality, safe nursing care and appropriate resource management
- Manage equipment, supplies, and adhere to sterile technique and safety standards
- Document care accurately and communicate clearly with the surgical team
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in South Dakota or eligibility to practice per state requirements
- Perioperative nursing experience preferred; strong foundational OR skills expected
- BLS certification required
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- Able to work 4x10-hour shifts (0700–1730) in a perioperative setting
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and meet assignment requirements
