Local contract nursing assignment within home healthcare in Princeton, New Jersey.
About the role
13-week travel assignment as a Registered Nurse in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) providing direct care to patients in a home health setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to CCU patients under physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and respond promptly to clinical changes.
- Administer prescribed medications, oversee IV therapies, and support basic respiratory care as allowed.
- Perform wound care, monitor equipment, and ensure patient safety and infection control.
- Document all care activities and patient responses.
- Communicate with the multidisciplinary team.
- Educate patients and families about care plans and post-discharge instructions.
Requirements
- Active RN license in New Jersey.
- BSN degree required.
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
- Availability for 7:00 PM–7:30 AM night shifts, including every other weekend and every other holiday.
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week local contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week.
- Ability to work effectively in a home healthcare setting.
Pay
Weekly pay: $2,182–$2,195 per week for 36 guaranteed hours.
Schedule
3×12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) over a 13-week contract starting 08/18/2026.
