Travel Registered Nurse CCU Job

Travel Registered Nurse assignment in Cleveland, Ohio for a 13-week contract starting 08/31/2026.

About the role

Provide direct nursing care in a hospital-based Medical Step-Down / Critical Care Unit (CCU) environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for patients in a medical step-down unit, including monitoring and responding to clinical changes
• Administer medications and IV therapies, titrate infusions as ordered, and document responses
• Conduct ongoing patient assessments, manage airway, hemodynamics, and other critical needs within scope of practice
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans; communicate changes to physicians and family members as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record; ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control protocols
• Support discharge planning and patient education as part of ongoing care and transition of care

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year of critical care or step-down experience
• Ability to work in a medical step-down setting and to perform 12-hour shifts; rotating schedule as needed
• Preferred: BSN or Magnet-recognized certification; 2 years of CCU/step-down experience

Schedule

• 3×12-hour rotating shifts (two 12-hour options: days 7am–7pm or nights 7pm–7am)
• Guaranteed hours: 0

Pay

Weekly pay: $1,992 to $2,177 per week.
